Day 40: Bonus Day!

So yesterday I was thinking ALL day that it was Sunday and was experiencing all the "day before work anxiety". I finally realized late in the day that it was actually Saturday. My thought at the time was, "great, day before work anxiety today and now TOMORROW too". BUT, that has not been the case. Today (actually Sunday), has totally felt like a BONUS day! Very little anxiety and lots of happiness.

Day 39: Adult Children

My moments of happiness today were certainly talking with my adult children via phone. I love that they share their lives with me!

Day 38: Red Winged Blac.....errr Geese??

A huge flock of geese flew over our house at sunset. The bright red of the sun shone on their bodies at just the right angle to make anything usually white on them appear to be bright neon red. Black and neon red against the sunset sky - loved it! I didn't get a pic of the geese but did get a shot of the sunset at the time - though it doesn't do the color justice.

Day 37: "I face love you!"

It always makes me happy when Little Squirrely Turd hugs my leg and buries his face against it. It's like he's saying, "I face love you!".

Day 36: Cinnamon Coffee & Cinnamon Trees

For the first time this fall I added a shake of cinnamon to my coffee grounds before brewing the coffee. Took my first sip on the way to work, and the taste of the cinnamon coffee combined with the cinnamon colored trees just made me happy.

Day 35: Dippy Cat Face

Since the sour cream and onion dip was old, the container got put out for the outside cats to enjoy. Little (very tiny but 2 years old) MeMe plunged her face right in and came out with it all over her face. She just sat up and licked and licked her face while the others ate...guess she figured that was her fair share. Made me laugh!

Day 34: Past Happiness

WOW! It's been FIVE years since I last wrote in this blog. A post of it came up in my facebook memories feed and it was fun to look back and read my past happiness and read why I started it in the first place - a great reason by the way. So, I'm gonna give it a try again.
